Ez-Bar Biceps Curl (With Arm Blaster)

Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Grip the EZ-bar with an underhand grip, placing your hands shoulder-width apart on the bar. Position the arm blaster on your upper arms. Keep your elbows close to your torso and fully extend your arms. Slowly curl the bar up towards your shoulders, while keeping your upper arms still. Contract your biceps at the top of the movement. Lower the bar back down in a controlled manner to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Coaching cues

  • Move with intent — every rep should feel deliberate, not rushed.
  • Drive force through your biceps rather than momentum.
  • Keep your breathing steady: exhale on the hard part, inhale on the reset.

Common mistakes

  • Using too much weight and losing positional control.
  • Cutting the range of motion short and missing the target muscle.
  • Letting your spine round or hyperextend instead of staying neutral.
